Top 10 Posts of 2025

I always like to stop at the turning of the year and make note of what posts were most popular in the previous twelve months. Doing so helps me plan my editorial calendar for the new year.
When I look at my stats from 2025, here’s what I see…
My Top 10 Most Popular Posts of 2025
10. Christmas Caroling Song Sheets
It makes my heart happy that my tenth most popular post was one for free printable Christmas Carol Song Sheets. I love singing in general, but I especially love singing Christmas carols!

9. Roman Road to Salvation Printables
I was also delighted to see these scripture printables make the top 10 list. The Roman Road is such a great way to share the gospel that I had my kids and grandkids memorize this series of verses. These are the printables I made to help them do that.

8. How to Write a Christmas Letter (with Samples)
I love writing, reading, and receiving long, newsy Christmas updates from family and friends, so this tutorial post is my contribution toward keeping the beloved holiday tradition of Writing Christmas Letters alive!

7. In Flanders Field Coloring Page
Obviously, our family’s last name is Flanders. Whenever I tell that to somebody younger than myself, they respond with, “Oh, like the Simpsons’ neighbor?” But whenever I give my name to somebody older, they usually answer, “Oh, like the poem” — meaning this one, In Flanders Field, from WWI. And what a beautiful poem it is!

6. The 23rd Psalm Printable
Here’s another memory passage I assigned to my kids and grandkids: the 23rd Psalm (also known as the Shepherd’s Psalm)

5. Editable High School Transcript for Homeschoolers
One of the questions I get asked most frequently about homeschooling is how to create a high school transcript. This post will get you started.

4. Free Books of the Bible Printable
Here’s a cute printable that will help make it easy to memorize the books of the Bible.

3. Number Writing Practice Sheets
If you have a preschooler who reverses numbers, this Number Writing Practice Sheet is just the ticket!

2. Christmas Word Scramble Printable
This is Christmas Word Scramble is the first holiday game I ever published, and it still tops my list every year for most popular.

1. Free 2026 Calendars
It’s funny to me that the #1 most popular post for 2025 is free printable calendars for 2026, but that is how it fell out!

If you examine these posts closely, you’ll see some themes start to emerge:
- 90% include a free printable
- 40% relate to homeschooling
- 30% include Bible resources
- 30% are for record keeping
- 30% are Christmas-themed
- 20% are coloring pages
- 10% are games
Interestingly, none of the top 10 posts of 2025 posts were actually written in 2025. If you look only at the posts I’ve published in the past 12 months, here are the five most popular:
My Top Posts Published in 2025
5. Nativity Word Scramble Game
Here we have another Christmas game in the same vein as the #2 post above. I created this Nativity Word Scramble at the request of a reader who likes my other Christmas games and was hoping for some new ones to play during the current holiday season.

4. Daily Weight and Blood Pressure Chart
This chart for tracking weight and blood pressure was another reader request, and one I was happy to fulfill.

3. Two Are Better Than One Coloring Page
I love the verse quoted on this Two Are Better Than One Coloring Page. It’s from the book of Ecclesiastes, which our pastor read during our wedding ceremony: “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. For if one falls down, his companion can lift him up; but pity the one who falls without another to help hiim up!

2. An Honest Review of Hnefataff Viking Chess
This cool Hnefataff Chess Game is something Timberdoodle sent me to review with my homeschool students. Our family is of Norwegian heritage, so this viking strategy game is right up our alley!

1. Free Printable Student Driver Sign
I used a Student Driver Bumper Sticker for my older kids, but we lost it when my husband traded in our old car for a new one, so my youngest daughter asked if I would make a new Student Driver Sign special for her. I did, then had it printed onto a magnet sheet, so we could take it off the car when anybody else was driving. It worked so well, I decided to share it on the blog.

Look closely and you’ll see some striking similarities between the two lists. The top posts written this year deal with many of the same topics that were popular overall:
- 80% include a free printable
- 40% deal with homeschooling
- 20% are coloring pages
- 20% are Christmas games
- 20% are Bible resources
- 20% are for record keeping
So, guess what that means? Stick around and you’ll get more of the same in the new year: more free printables, more homeschool help, more coloring pages, more holiday games, more Bible resources, and more charts to help you stay organized.
