I received another request from a reader named Kristin last week. She told me her church had enclosed the tracts I’d designed for Thanksgiving and Christmas in the food boxes they distribute to needy families in recent months. And she wondered whether I might have similar gospel tracts for New Years.
Well, I didn’t before, but — once again — I do now, thanks to her inspiring idea. Here are the four designs I’ve come up with so far:
For those who’ve never accepted God’s gift of new life in Christ, there is no better time to do so than TODAY. God can give you a fresh start on life anytime — New Years or not — as long as you’re still alive. There will be no “do-overs” after death, though. So give your heart to Jesus while you still have the breath to do so.
Ring in the New Year by turning over a new leaf. Out with the old! In with the new! Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. He offers freedom from sin and our old sinful ways. Let’s pray with the Psalmist: “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10)
Time stops for no man, so let’s learn to use it wisely and to the glory of God.
The following resolutions should top our list every year: Love God, love others, trust in Jesus, shine brightly for Him, work hard, and honor the Lord in all we do.
And that’s it for our New Year’s gospel tracts. We hope you’ll use these to spread hope and shine for Jesus in the coming months.
