Who Gets What? Christmas Matching Game

Who Gets What?

December is here. It’s time to celebrate! Not only is Christmas just around the corner, but our family is officially in our new house, having moved the very last box of stuff over late last night. Hooray!!

We spent the entire month of November s-l-o-w-l-y moving, room by room — which explains why I only wrote four posts all month. Sorry about that! We were on a time crunch.

The inside of our house looks fairly organized now (I’ll post some photos in a week or so), but after that final few days’ push, my garage currently looks like this:

What a mess!

Does that mess look overwhelming to you? To me, it looks like a challenge. How much of it can I get put away before Doug gets home from work?

Of course, this is what’s left AFTER we had a garage sale last weekend and parted with a literal ton of belongings (or more), including lots of furniture and two front loading washer/dryer sets:

Garage Sale - you haul it off so we don't have to!

The hardest thing I had to part with? My nursery furniture (sniff sniff). I painted those little lambs on that toy box myself, the same day I went into labor with our firstborn. That was 28 years and 12 children ago!

Garage sale - parting with priceless treasures

From the looks of my new garage, we’ll need to have another sale in the very near future. Until then, I’ll be playing an extended game of “What Goes Where.” Ha!

Time to start matching!

Since it wouldn’t be fair for me to have ALL the fun, I’m posting a related game that you can play, too. I call it “Who Gets What?”

  2. We were given this at a senior center get together but even with Wikipedia’s help couldn’t fill the last three blanks #10 #17 #19. I’ve looked on your blog but can’t locate the key. I have answers J, N, and P unused but may have incorrect answers. Have learned a lot about plots of movies I haven’t seen. If you still have the answers could you please tell me how to get them? Love your blog and useful record keeping lists. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Ha! Even Wikipedia couldn’t help you, huh? The answer key has always been linked above, Deb, but admittedly, you’d originally have had to read pretty closely to find it. I’ve tried to make it a little more obvious now by giving it a button all to itself. Just scroll down the page, and the you’ll find button to print the solutions directly beneath the button to print the quiz. Thanks for playing!

  3. I found the cute quiz over the weekend, finished it, and checked with your answer key. Too fun (I got them all right). 8)

    1. Yes, Erin. The answer key has always been linked above, but I’ve gone back now and tried to make it more obvious by creating a button link right below the copy of the printable.

  4. I really enjoy your blog posts. I found you when searching for scripture printables. Congratulations on the new home. I’ve always found moving to be a fun adventure.

I wish I could have gone to your yard sale!
