Kindness from Heaven Coloring Page

Our family just got back from a week-long camping trip we take every October. The weather was glorious, the fellowship uplifting, and the time together fun and memorable. We view all those blessings as Kindnesses from Heaven, like the following coloring page proclaims.

It features Acts 14:17. “Yet He has not left Himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; He provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.”

It’s funny that the verse should mention rain, because we did have one night of that during our camping trip. Fortunately for us, it stormed on the night we’d come home to get ready for our homeschool co-op the following morning.

But it still highlighted the kindness of God. Some years when we’ve not gotten enough rain, it has triggered a burn ban at the campgrounds, which means no camp fires, no weenie roasts, and no s’mores. That wasn’t a problem this year with the good soaking we got on Sunday night.

The storm also highlighted the kindness of our fellow campers, who bailed three gallons of water out of our tents and strung all our quilts up to dry, so everything was nice for us once we returned. Isn’t that precious?
