Our family goes tent camping for a week every October. This year, I’m gearing up early for the trip, as thirteen of our sixteen grandchildren will be spending at least part of the week with us.
To make things easier during the hours I’m in charge, I’m bringing some fun activities to help keep them occupied. We’ll use the same Family Camp Scavenger Hunt cards I laminated more than a decade ago. They were a hit with my own kids, so hopefully the grands will enjoy them, too.
I’m also bringing supplies for some nature crafts, as well as a few activity sheets, like this Camping Themed I Spy Game.
Does your family love being out in nature as much as mine does? Then check out my devotional journal, All Things Bright and Beautiful.
There is so much wonder to be found in God’s creation, if we can manage to slow down long enough to open our eyes to appreciate it all. That’s why I created this little devotional journal — to encourage you to observe and explore the world around you, recording your thoughts and impressions of your physical surroundings while gleaning spiritual truths, as well.
It joins a whole series of devotional journals I’ve created, now with twelve titles to choose from.
