– Luke 6:38
Doesn’t that sound exactly how God behaves toward us? Truly, none of us can out give Him. When we give generously to others, freely sharing the blessings with which He has blessed us, He heaps even more blessings upon us to make up for it.
This lavish tendency reminds me of another promise from the book of Proverbs:
Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will repay him for his deed.
Proverbs 19:17
