Our spring bulbs are up and blooming, so I thought now would be a fitting time to share this Lily of Valley Coloring Page.
It features Song of Solomon 2:1, which reads, “I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.”
Solomon’s bride said these words in reference to herself. The bridegroom answers, insisting she is “a lily among thorns” when compared to other maidens. He is captivated with her.
When I was growing up, the church I attended often sang a hymn that declared Christ to be “the lily of the valley.” I love the harmony in the version of the song I’ve embedded below. And indeed, our eyes should be so fixed on Jesus that any other thing we might desire would pale in comparison to knowing Him as Lord and Savior.
I love the harmony in the version of the song I’ve embedded above. If you can’t see the player here, you can follow this link to view it.
