What Child Is This? Christmas Quiz

What Child is This Printable Christmas Quiz

Our family has done a lot of traveling this week. We’ve attended two college graduations (one out of town). And we’ve visited extended family who live out of state.

That translates into about 14 hours on the road so far. And we have at least that much more ahead of us in the coming week.

The good news is I brought my laptop along. That allowed me to spend a portion of our travel time designing new printables to post on this website. The rest of the time, I was either napping or reading our old family Christmas letters aloud to Doug and the kids — something we do this time every year as a way of acquainting our younger children with the history of their older siblings and of recounting God’s faithfulness to our family through the years. .

My plan, then, is to publish all the new material in the week leading up to Christmas, starting with today’s free printable
What Child Is This? Quiz.

Although I’ve published lots of Christmas games in the past, this is the first one wholly dedicated to the real reason we celebrate. I know the facts of this Biblical account like the back of my hand, so it didn’t seem to me that such a quiz would present much of a challenge.

Yet in this day and age, kids don’t necessarily learn these details as a matter of course, so I thought a little Christmas quiz might help familiarize them with the facts (even as it helped uncover gaps in my own little ones’ understanding of events surrounding the First Christmas).

So without further adieu, here is our latest offering:
