Word on Wednesday: Luke 2:10

Free Scripture Memory Cards from www.flandersfamily.info

Another of our family goals for the New Year is to hide more of the Word in our children’s hearts.

To help in that endeavor, I’ve been working on some Scripture Memory Flashcards which I plan to share on this blog every Wednesday for the next couple of years, starting with Luke 2:10, which reads, “But the angel said to them, ‘Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.'”

Of course, we’d encourage you to be in the Word everyday, but Wednesdays are the day we’ve chosen to run this column — a midweek reminder to focus on things eternal.

The entire set contains more than 100 verses, which we’ll make available to you as soon as the project’s complete. I’m getting close now!

In the meanwhile, here are the first nine verses (including Luke 2:10) to get you started:

To use, just print a double-sided copy, then cut apart using the blue guidelines to review individual verses.

“So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” – Isaiah 55:11, NASB
