God Demonstrates His Love Coloring Page
My new “God Demonstrates His Love” coloring page features the words to one of my all-time favorite verses, Romans 5:8.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
That’s the gospel in a nutshell. God in Christ did all the work on our behlf: He loved, He initiated, He pursued, He gave, He sacrificed, He died for us, even in our sinful state, because His love for us was so great.
That is why I attach this verse to the end of my signature in almost every email I send. Because the good news just doesn’t get any better than this. Christ loved me, a sinner, and died in my stead so that I could spend eternity with Him.
But now I’m getting a little ahead of myself. Some of those concepts are not fully spelled out until later in this Roman Road to Salvation collection. So check back in next Sunday for another installment in this series of hand-drawn coloring places.
