Run to Win Coloring Page
With the Summer Olympics set to start in just a few more days, this seems the perfect time to share my new Run to Win Coloring Page.
This coloring page features 1 Corinthians 9:24, which reads:
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as you might win.”
Long before modern day pastors started using sports analogies in their Sunday sermons, the Bible compared the life of faith to an athlete’s training.
- “Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.” – 1 Corinthians 9:25
- “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us…” – Hebrews 12:1
- “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7
I pray that, at the end of the age, each of us will be able to say that we did not grow weary or give up, but instead ran with endurance, finished the course, and kept the faith. By the grace of God, let it be so. Amen!
