Romans 6 Coloring Page

This week’s coloring page features Romans 6: “There is therefore now no condemnation for them who are in Christ Jesus….”
I memorized this entire chapter when I was in middle school. I’d quote it to myself every night as I drifted off to sleep. And, before long, I knew it forwards and backwards.
Back in those days, my sister and I had a separate (land) line from our parents, and we’d sometimes receive prank calls from “heavy breathers” in the middle of the night (that was before caller ID). I got to where I could answer the phone at two or three in the morning and immediately launch into quoting the sixth chapter of Romans without even fully waking up.
The callers would usually hang up in a hurry whenever they heard that!

Anyway, Romans 6 has always been a favorite passage of mine. No condemnation! When we put our faith and trust in Christ, we who were once slaves to sin and death are made alive unto God. Isn’t that fabulous news?
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
