One-Year Bible Reading Plan
Our daughter Bethany found this one-year Bible reading plan online, and we love it. Daily readings rotate through the epistles, history, gospels, poetry, prophesy, proverbs, and law, so readers get a nice variety throughout the week. No getting bogged down in Leviticus and Deuteronomy for a solid month!
If you’d like a reminder, you can even sign up to have each day’s reading passage emailed to you — all for FREE. Of course, there’s no need to wait until January 1. You can start reading right now. Then, in 52 weeks, you will have worked your way through the entire Bible.
For those who prefer to read their Bible offline, we’ve still got you covered. I’ve listed all the reading passages from this one-year Bible reading plan on these handy bookmarks. They’ll make it easy for you to keep up. Just check off each passage as you complete it.
You have a choice of printing these bookmarks in color or in black & white. Print on card stock to make them more durable. Cut them apart, and slip the current list into your Bible to mark your place, and check off each passage as you finish reading it.
More resources for nurturing your spiritual life
For more resources that will enhance your personal quiet time with the LORD, download a few of my free printable prayer guides or check out my full line of devotional journals.
I designed the journals to get readers thinking. Meditating on the Word of God. Applying it to their daily life. Reflecting on His faithfulness to all generations.
Unlike dated diaries, where if you miss a day you feel behind, these books are intended to be “anytime journals.” You don’t have to complete the pages in any particular order. You can hop around and do whichever page appeals to you at the time. Take as long as you need to work through it, whether that means a matter of months or even years.
There’s no right or wrong way to complete the entries. You may use these pages to record thoughts, compose poetry, set goals. To write prayers, paste photographs, paint pictures, draw sketches. To make lists, tape mementos. Or you can do a combination of any or all of the above.

Every chance you get. Year in. Year out.

That is wonderful, Ridahun. You are more than welcome to print and use the Bible reading planner. That is exactly why I’ve posted all the free printable resources on our website in the first place — in hopes that others would find and use them, too, and be blessed by them. ❤️

Your message made my day, Joyce. I’m so glad you’ve found the resources I post useful. I’m praying God pours out His blessings upon you in 2023!
May GOD bless you all.
Thank you so much. He has. I’m praying He bless you, as well, as you dig into His word!
I have a question for you about this post but I’d rather not post it in the comments. Is there any way you could email me? It’s nothing bad. More a personal problem I’m having. I’d really appreciate hearing from you. Thanks, Kelly.
Sure, Kelly. I think I already answered you privately, but in case I didn’t, you may email me at flandersfamily(at)flandersfamily(dot)info.
Hi Jennifer,
This has truly encouraged me. I have been overwhelmed as well and had began to flop after a long day instead of doing a focused prayer. I need to get back to praying as I have slacked. I read but I haven’t been studying but merely reading out of habit. I am in the process of purchasing a new home and I have been a little stressed as time grows closer to closing etc.
You have reminded me that I need to get back to praying and leaving it all at the cross and I appreciate that.
I will pray for you all and thank you for your prayers and encouragement.
You’re so welcome, Jessica. And thank you for your prayers. It is always a comfort to know that others are approaching the throne of Grace on my behalf.
I’ve used several plans over several years to read the Bible thru in a year. After wondering what it would be like to read the Bible with no divisions such as books, chapters or versed. So this year I’m using The Story and enjoying it very much. Glad to see you back.
I bet that has been interesting, Nanci. I’ve seen Bibles arranged chronologically before, but never tried reading it that way.
Just shared this with my family and printed out a calendar for myself 🙂
Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome, Bekah Joy. Hope you all will enjoy it as much as we have.
