Lunch at N7 yesterday: It wasn’t easy to find, but very delicious and well worth the search.
Absolutely stunning views at Oak Alley Plantation. The docents did a great job contrasting the lives of the successful owners vs. their beleaguered slaves who made such a lavish life possible. We also learned a lot about modern sugar cane production and processing.
Thursday marked the 40th anniversary of the day I met my husband, and we celebrated with a trip to Louisiana. It was a gorgeous day for strolling through New Orleans Botanical Garden! We enjoyed Storyland and the miniature train ride as well.
Has mothering young children left you exhausted and depleted? On this week’s podcast, we discuss ways to maintain joy during that busy season.
We had a lovely time celebrating this girl’s Sweet 16 with friends. Hard to believe our baby is all grown up—and so very quickly!
Back at home, first order of business after unpacking: decorating our bedroom tree for Easter!
