Be Merciful Coloring Page
Our free printable Be Merciful Coloring Page is hand-drawn by me and features the words of Luke 6:36. Here Jesus tells His followers,
"Therefore, be merciful, just as your father also is merciful." - Luke 6:36 (NKJV)
This is one of the resources I created for my brand new collection of scripture memory tools, A Grand Investment Vol. 3. I use these printables to help and encourage my kids and grandkids to hide God’s Word in their hearts.
This passage echoes something Jesus taught in Matthew 5:7 during His Sermon on the Mount:
"Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy." - Matthew 5:7 (NIV)
And James approaches the topic from the opposite vantage point, reminding us in James 2:13 what awaits us if we refuse to obey Christ’s command:
"For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment." - James 2:13 (NASB)
