Jixelz Creator Review

Jixelz Creator

My kids and grandkids tried out a fun new building kit from Timberdoodle this week called Jixelz Creator.

With over 3000 pieces in 20 different colors to choose from, the supplies were plentiful enough for multiple kids to work on projects simultaneously.

The set includes a design booklet with pictorial instructions for 40 colorful projects — like the popsicle one of my grandsons built.

Alternatively, kids can create original designs, as well. Here, one of my grandsons sketched his idea on paper before building. But the instruction booklet also contains blank pixilated pages where kids can brainstorm more intricate designs.

Creating your own design

Jixelz Creator provides a great, low-mess way for kids to take a break from their studies and do something creative.

Clean up is fast and easy, as well. The designs stick together well, if you want to save your finished work. But the pieces can be quickly separated and returned to their separate storage cups to be reused in future projects.

My only warning would be to keep these tiny parts far away from babies and toddlers, as they’d definitely pose a choking risk should little ones try to swallow them.

Do you have a child who’d enjoy piecing together designs with Jixelz Creator? You can get your own set through Timberdoodle, either as a stand alone product or as part of their Fourth Grade Curriculum Kit.

And while you’re on the Timberdoodle website, I’d encourage you to look around. We love everything we’ve ever ordered from this small family-owned company!
