In uncertain times, it’s good to remember where our strength and security really lie. My new Light and Salvation Coloring Page serves as a good reminder we have nothing and no one to fear so long as God’s hand is upon us. This printable features the words of Psalm 27:1,
“The LORD is my Light and my Salvation, whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
The “nothing to fear” theme is one that surfaces repeatedly throughout scripture. Here are some more verses meant to reassure us of that truth:
- “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” – Psalm 23:4
- “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea.”- Psalm 46:1-2
- “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.” – John 14:27
