Perfect Peace Coloring Page

This week’s Perfect Peace Coloring Page features Isaiah 26:3, “You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer last December, I had a lot of people praying for me — family, friends, acquaintances, even folks I’ve never met who listen to my podcast or follow me on Instagram or are familiar with my books or blogs.
In addition to praying for my treatment, my surgery, my healing, many of them also told me they were praying God would give me “peace that passes understanding.” And has He ever delivered!

I do have perfect peace, not because I’m necessarily convinced everything is going to turn out rosy, but because I trust God completely.
Cancer is “the emporer of all maladies,” and I know it has the potential to make me very sick or hasten my death. I have no way of knowing what the future holds in terms of my health, but I do know one thing: No matter what happens, God has promised never to leave or forsake me, and He will walk with me through it.
That’s where I put my trust — in God, the blessed controller of all things. And my heart remains at rest as long as I focus not on my problems, but on the Problem Solver.
