John Kenndey Coloring Page

Since today is the birthday of our 35th president, I’m sharing this John F. Kennedy Coloring Page in his honor. It features a quote US citizens would do well to remember today:

“Every time that we try to lift a problem from our own shoulders, and shift that problem to the hands of the government, to the same extent we are sacrificing the liberties of our people.”

Kennedy said plenty of other things that are just as timely today as when he first uttered the words, including the following pithy quotes:

  • “This country cannot afford to be materially rich and spiritually poor.”
  • “One person can make a difference, and everyone should try.”
  • “Ask not that the journey be easy; ask instead that it be worth it.”

And how about this one?

  • “A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.”
