Mailbag: Songs, Babies, and a Reason to Celebrate

I’ve been using Mondays to clean out my mailbox. Today’s post is all about babies, songs, and reasons to celebrate!

Mailbag Mondays - Our answers to readers' questions

Question: Lyrics for your baby song?

Hi, Jennifer.

I was looking up parodies to Disney’s Snowman song today and came across your baby one.

It’s my favorite by far. Very well done! Any chance you will share the lyrics? My husband and I have been married for a little over a year now and are ready to start attempting to create our own brood.

I haven’t looked at your website in depth yet, but it looks to me like you homeschool. We were both homeschooled and plan to homeschool as well. 🙂 I can’t wait to see what I can learn about parenting from your website.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
Alisha

Answer: I’m happy to share!

I’m so glad you found us, Alisha.

I’ve posted the lyrics to that song on my other website, Loving Life at Home. Just follow this link to find them.

I’ve also uploaded a printable version, per the request of a reader who wanted to sing the song at a baby shower she was hostessing. If you’d like to download that PDF, go here.

I am really missing the baby days at our house! Our youngest (Abby) turned five in April. Isn’t she looking grown up?

Fortunately, I already have six grandbabies — all boys! The newest was born just a few weeks ago. His name is Noah. Isn’t he a sweetheart?

As long as we are on the topic of babies, I want to give everybody a heads-up about a new series we’ll be starting on the blog after Thanksgiving.

Keeping Christ in Christmas - A blog series to help us focus our hearts on the real reason we celebrate.

As we deal with all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, I don’t want us to lose sight of that Babe in the manger. And so, all through the month of December, I’ll be sharing ideas and activities designed to focus our hearts on the real reason we celebrate Christmas.

Won’t you join us?
