Armor of Righteousness Coloring Page

I missed posting a new Bible verse coloring page last Sunday. But I decided this would be the perfect time for sharing my Armor of Righteousness Coloring Page, because today (May 30) is Joan of Arc Day! And I’m pretty sure the girl depicted in this vintage artwork is supposed to be her.

Historians disagree as to what was truly going on with the French heroine who led the French army to victory in the siege of Orléans in 1429, a pivotal point in the Hundred Year’s War. Did she really see divine visions? Was she schizophrenic? Or perhaps she was experiencing some sort of epileptic seizure.
One thing is certain, though: Joan believed herself to be on a special mission from God. Regardless what others think, she was convinced that God and His saints had specifically called her to the course of action she took, and her devout faith in Jesus strengthened her for the task.
I genuinely admire that courage, conviction, and commitment. Would that we all might attend so well to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and obey “the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left.”
