BABIES - Meet our newest members! At 10 lbs 8 oz, our sweet little Abigail set a new family record and immediately stole all our hearts. Of course, we're equally proud of grandson Chase who weighed a hefty 10 lbs 7 oz himself. You can view a slide slow of both babies' birthdays by clicking here.

CHARTS - There seems to be a bit of a baby boom going on in East Texas right now. The hospitals were hopping when we were there. If you or somebody you know will be heading to the OB/Maternity wing soon, you may want to print out our hospital packing list to ensure you have as pleasant a stay as possible.

FUN - Children grow up too fast to let the summer slip by without making some meaningful memories together. Here's a list of warm-weather activities the whole family will enjoy. They're guaranteed to banish boredom!

GOALS - Summer is when I do the bulk of my planning and preparation for the coming school year. Whether you homeschool or not, you can use this handy evaluation form to help think through and set some goals for your own kids.

FOOD - It's blueberry season! We stock our freezer this time of year with berries we pick ourselves at a local farm. Click here to find a pick-your-own farm near you, then whip up a batch of our blueberry muffins to enjoy on a lazy summer morning with a cup of cold milk. Mmmm, good!
