Monday Mailbag: 2019-2020 Academic Calendar

Traffic always picks up this time of year on my back-to-school posts. My most popular school-themed articles are Make Every Month More Memorable and my Year-at-a-Glance Academic Calendars.

But some people like to plan more than 12-months in advance, like the reader who sent me the following this week:

Question: Are your 2019-2020 academic calendars ready?

I would like to thank you for the year-at-a-glance calendar! My husband is given his work schedule in two year increments so finding this a few weeks ago has been a great way to map out our school schedule and his work schedule for the next year!

Out of curiosity, do you have a 2019-2020 at-a-glance calendar? I subscribed above but it doesn’t go into the next school year.

Thank you!
Tricia

Answer: Yes! And here is a link so you can print it today!

Well, it hadn’t really occurred to me to make a 2019-2020 academic calendar that far in advance, but Tricia’s letter prompted me to go ahead and do it now.

Our family has been on an extended road trip for the past week and a half (watch for a few travel posts later this week), which means I’ve a lot of time in the van to work on new printables (email me if you have any special requests).

Here is the academic calendar Trish requested. First, my original version that runs from July to June:

And this version, for those who prefer an August start date:

Still too busy planning this year to worry about next? Then you may prefer these calendars:

  • 2018-19 Academic Calendar
  • 2018 Month-to-Month Calendar
  • 2019 Month-to-Month Calendar
  • 2019 Year-at-a-Glance Calendar

Another of the projects I’m trying hard to finish on this trip is updating my free printables page. Because it includes a lot of new resources available only to subscribers, it’s now password protected. If you’re not already a subscriber, you can sign up here to get immediate access.

Will you be making a 2020/2021 academic calendar? The 2019/2020 was so helpful for planning the year! I shared a link to your website on a homeschool group so others could use it too.
