\"Ephesians<\/p>\n

Here is a great verse to meditate on amid reports of terrorist attacks across the globe.<\/p>\n

To quote Haymitch Abernathy, we must “remember who the real enemy is.”<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12<\/a><\/p>\n

We have an enemy, but that enemy is not our the person on the opposite side of the political aisle or the drug addict who mugs us to support his habit or even the terrorist who highjacks our planes. The real enemy is Satan — the one who comes to steal, kill and destroy. The one who sows division where there should be unity. Who enslaves the drug addict to a life of crime in pursuit of another hit. Who dupes the jihadist into believing he is serving God by killing infidels.<\/p>\n
