On this day, October 30th, 290 years ago, the second president of the United States was born. And to celebrate, I’m sharing the John Adams coloring page from my Quotes of the US Presidents: In Their Own Words<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It features John Adam’s wise words regarding our government:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.\u201d<\/p>John Adams<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

He was right. We are seeing the results even now of what happens when immoral and irreligious people are charged with abiding by, interpreting, or safeguarding the Constitution. And it isn’t pretty!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
