Since National Broadway Musicals Day is September 29, I thought today would be the perfect time to share another of my 50 Things Lists<\/a>. This one is dedicated to the 50 Best Broadway Tunes<\/a> of all times (or, at least, 50 of my personal favorites).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I grew up watching musicals (on TV, not on Broadway) and have always loved them. In high school, I studied voice and performed many of the classics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My husband and I even had some of these songs performed at our wedding. I came down the aisle to the wedding march from Sound of Music (minus the “How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?” lyrics). And a group of singers from the Dallas Symphony Chorus (of which I was a member at the time) sang “Climb Every Mountain” at one point during the ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
