White <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>My daughter and I just finished reading\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3V2cN8p\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Charlotte&#8217;s Web<\/a> aloud to one another, which never fails to choke me up.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On every reading, I cry over the friendship and affection Wilbur and Charlotte share for one another. I marvel over Charlotte&#8217;s way with words, both written and spoken. She always knows just what to say to calm and encourage those around her.                                                                                                                                                                                                       And I watch with sympathetic understanding as sweet Fern grows up and matures and begins to leave behind the childish interests that had once been so consuming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See there? I&#8217;m crying again, just thinking about this wonderful tale. The author does a thorough job of identifying ways this green monster can creep into one&#8217;s heart and motivation unawares &#8212; which is probably why God included a law against coveting in His ten commandments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If comparison steals contentment, envy will completely demolish it. So don&#8217;t let that happen. href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3T5tLzZ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Life is Hard, God is Good, Let&#8217;s Dance<\/a><\/em> is full of personal anecdotes and a considerate explanation as to why the author &#8216;s faith in God remains unshaken despite the difficulties life has thrown his way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I especially enjoyed the story of how God answered his impassioned childhood prayer for a friend. It details not only the life of the title character, but of his most famous contemporaries, as well. It&#8217;s a fantastic way to study the timeline of history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And now I&#8217;m reading these books aloud to a whole new generation.
