We recently had an opportunity to try out the SmatMax Baby STEM play set with a few of our grandchildren.<\/p>\n\n\n

The set consists of chunky plastic building pieces in a variety of shapes and bright colors, all with strong magnets inside that make connecting them to each other a breeze.<\/p>\n\n\n

Straight and curved lengths combine with large white balls to form simple 3-D structures.<\/p>\n\n\n

\"Kids<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

My granddaughter especially loved playing with the white balls that had faces painted on them.<\/p>\n\n\n

\"Smartmax<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

She could combine the heads with specialty pieces like hats, bodies, and wheeled pieces to make people and passenger trains.<\/p>\n\n\n

The set is designed for ages 1-6, but our older kids enjoyed “helping” the grands build things, as well. Even baby could play with the pieces with no fear of choking on the pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n

If you have young kids or grandkids you’d like to introduce to STEM learning early, check out the SmartMax Baby STEM set<\/a> yourself.
