One of the products in the new Timberdoodle catalog that I just love is this sweet set of Baby Sign Language Flash Cards<\/a>. <\/p>\n

They are bright and colorful with photographs of an item on one side of the card and pictorial instructions for how to sign it on on the opposite side.<\/p>\n

\"Baby<\/p>\n

Not only do the babies in our family like these flash cards, but their older siblings (and aunts, uncles, parents, and grandparents) do, too!<\/p>\n

\"Baby<\/p>\n

The cards are sturdy enough to withstand being handled by tiny fingers (though they won’t hold up to being chewed). <\/p>\n

\"Baby<\/p>\n

And the signing instructions are simple enough to be understood even by pre-readers.<\/p>\n

The flashcard format allows you to teach\/ review just a few select cards at a time, adding more vocabulary words as the first signs are mastered.<\/p>\n

Then, you can simply show the photo side of the card to the kids and see if they can sign it without checking the instructions on the reverse.<\/p>\n
