Timberdoodle recently released their spring catalog which is chock-full of fun new offerings such as the Mobi Zippee Toy<\/a> I tried out on my grandbaby this week.<\/p>\n

\"Mobi<\/p>\n

This toy is much softer and squishier than I anticipated. I thought the central capsule would be hard plastic, but it is actually made of textured, food-grade silicone.<\/p>\n

\"Mobi<\/p>\n

The toy is designed for ages 18 months and up, although my 12-month-old grandson enjoyed playing with it quite a bit. He enjoyed pulling the zippee cables out to their full length, but didn’t immediately realize he could turn the toy around and do the same thing going the other direction.<\/p>\n

\"Mobi<\/p>\n

Instead, he waited for us to return them to their original position so he could repeat the process a second (and third and fourth) time. <\/p>\n

\"Mobi<\/p>\n

Not to worry: His big sister was more than happy to help him out. She seemed to like the bright colors and varied textures even more than he did.<\/p>\n

\"Mobi<\/p>\n

The Mobi Zippee Toy<\/a> held up well to the brief game of tug-of-war that ensued. It is surprisingly durable.<\/p>\n

\"Mobi<\/p>\n

Big sister (who recently turned three) gained full possession in the end and played with the cables in a more orderly systematic way, pulling all of them from one side to the other in sequence, then pulling them back again to their original position.<\/p>\n
