Today’s Eagle Wings Coloring Page<\/a> features Isaiah 40:31<\/a>, one of my all-time favorite Bible promises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Yet they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”<\/p>\n\n\n

I love the context of this verse. The preceding verse notes than even young people grow tired and weary. Sometimes they even stumble and fall. But believers — even middle-aged ones like me — can trust God to continually sustain and energize and give them the strength to do all He’s called them to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aren’t you grateful to know that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the promise in Isaiah is backed up by lots of supporting verses that make it clear where the Christian’s true strength resides:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
