I’m back with another of my Timberdoodle product reviews<\/a> today. This week we tested their whimsical Djeco So Pop<\/a> Craft Kit.<\/p>\n

\"Djeco<\/p>\n

I love the fact that this kit is all-inclusive. You’ll find everything you need to complete four different art pictures right in the box. No other supplies necessary.<\/p>\n

\"kit<\/p>\n

Thanks to great organization, separating the components needed for each picture is super simple. Parts are clearly marked with photos of finished prototypes, so kids can easily tell which parts go with which project.<\/p>\n

\"Djeco<\/p>\n

An pictorial step-by-step instruction book means even pre-readers can follow along without a problem.<\/p>\n

Djeco designed this kit for ages 3-6. Since several of my grandkids are in that age range, I had plenty of volunteers willing to take the kit for a test run.<\/p>\n

These little cuties completed the first three craft pictures.<\/p>\n

The youngest, who’ll turn 3 in another week, had no trouble hanging with her older brothers on this activity.<\/p>\n

Some of the craft pictures were less detailed (and more quickly finished) than others, but most took 20-30 minutes to complete. <\/p>\n

The kids were pretty proud of the results.<\/p>\n

As you can see, the artwork is a bit quirky, with lots of leeway for piece placement. It would be hard to “mess” these designs up.<\/p>\n

Since my grandkids only finished three of the projects, that left the fourth for my 10-year-old daughter to do.<\/p>\n

We took it with us to a track meet this afternoon so she could work on it in between cheering her brothers on in their races and field events.<\/p>\n

\"Djeco<\/p>\n

She was excited to have something to do to break the monotony of sitting on the sidelines all afternoon and evening. Djeco So Pop<\/a>‘s sturdy cardboard box made a great lap desk as she worked on her project.<\/p>\n

It was a bit windy today, but the heavy tagboard pieces stayed put. <\/p>\n

Here’s the finished picture. Pretty cute, huh? Abby is already planning to enter this craft project in the Creative Arts competition<\/a> at the state fair in September.<\/p>\n

Djeco So Pop<\/a> is a fun enrichment activity for crafty (and not-so-crafty) kids. If you think your little ones would enjoy this kit, you can order your own through Timberdoodle as a stand-alone project. It is also a component of their 2020 Pre-K Curriculum kit<\/a>. <\/p>\n
