Some of the neighbors (including us) are relatively new to the neighborhood. The ladies mixed and mingled trying to track down people that fit all the descriptions on the list.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A bookworm<\/li>\n<li>A school teacher<\/li>\n<li>Someone new to the neighborhood<\/li>\n<li>A new mother\/grandmother<\/li>\n<li>A dog owner<\/li>\n<li>An exercise enthusiast<\/li>\n<li>Et cetera&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.flandersfamily.info\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Brunch-Photo-1.jpg?resize=960%2C720&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Mother\/ Daughter\/ Granddaughter Valentine Brunch\" width=\"960\" height=\"720\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-20345\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.flandersfamily.info\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Brunch-Photo-1.jpg?w=960&amp;ssl=1 960w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.flandersfamily.info\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Brunch-Photo-1.jpg?resize=600%2C450&amp;ssl=1 600w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.flandersfamily.info\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Brunch-Photo-1.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.flandersfamily.info\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Brunch-Photo-1.jpg?resize=768%2C576&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2> You&#8217;ll never know unless you ask<\/h2>\n<p>The follow-up questions helped keep the conversations going a little better than the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flandersfamily.info\/web\/2012\/12\/08\/ice-breaker-bingo-free-printable\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Ice Breaker Bingo<\/a> I&#8217;ve used at bigger parties.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What&#8217;s the most recent book you&#8217;ve finished?<\/li>\n<li>What subject or grade do you teach?<\/li>\n<li>Where did you live before moving here?<\/li>\n<li>How old is your baby\/grandbaby?<\/li>\n<li>What&#8217;s your dog&#8217;s name and breed?<\/li>\n<li>What&#8217;s your favorite way to workout?<\/li>\n<li>And so forth and so on&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I was too busy with the final brunch preparations to mark a Getting to Know You list myself, but I did answer lots of questions for others. If you&#8217;d like to get better acquainted, I&#8217;d encourage you to ask them over.<\/p>\n<p>You can have them all at once, like we did, or invite them one at a time to visit over a cup of coffee.
