Did you know National Good Neighbor Day<\/strong> is right around the corner? Formerly celebrated on the fourth Sunday in September, it is now observed on September 28 every year.<\/p>\n

\"Good<\/p>\n

Do you have a good relationship with your neighbors? If so, thank God<\/strong> for that fact. If not, then pray that He would help you live at peace with those around you<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Jesus says we should love our neighbors as we love ourselves<\/strong>. (Matthew 22:39<\/a>) And His definition of neighbor extends far beyond the people in the houses on either side of us. (Luke 10:29-37<\/a>)<\/p>\n

This week’s good neighbor coloring page takes this as its theme. It features Proverbs 27:10. “Better is a neighbor who is near than a brother who is far away.”<\/p>\n

Would your neighbors consider you better than a brother?<\/strong> What can you do to improve your reputation with those who live near you? Make a list of the qualities you’d like in a neighbor, and work on developing those yourself.<\/p>\n

We’ve been blessed with a lot of wonderful neighbors. Many of them are internationals. I wish I could offer these coloring pages in all their native tongues, but I’m afraid the only other language currently available is Spanish.<\/strong><\/p>\n
