This week, I’m sharing a special coloring page forGrandparents Day<\/a>. This holiday falls annually on the first Sunday after Labor Day. That’s today!<\/p>\n

The Bible tells us, <\/p>\n

“Grandchildren are like a crown to the elderly, and the glory of children is their parents.” (Proverbs 17:6<\/a>)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If you or your children are blessed enough to have grandparents still living, I hope you will honor them, not just on a solitary Sunday in September, but all year long. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Grandparents<\/p>\n

Grandparents enrich our lives in so many ways. We can learn from their wisdom and experience<\/strong>. We can relive history through their eyes. We can bridge relationships between the next generation and the last. And we can be a crown and a comfort to them in their old age.<\/p>\n

And if you are a grandparent yourself? Then celebrate the opportunity you have to pour into the lives of your grandchildren. Even if they live far away and you don’t get to see them often, you can pray for your grandkids<\/a> and connect with them<\/a> in ways that cross miles and transcend cultures.<\/p>\n
