As you know, I publish a new Scripture-based coloring page every Sunda<\/strong>y, so for my Christmas in July<\/a> series, I thought I’d post a Christmas-themed design: namely, my new Glory to God in the Highest Coloring Page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n

This one comes from the gospel of Luke: The shepherds were in the fields, watching their flocks by night, when an angel of the Lord appeared to them, telling them the good news of Christ’s birth…<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,”Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Can you imagine what a scene that must have been? No wonder the shepherds wasted no time making their way to Bethlehem once the heavenly host had departed<\/strong>, so they could see with their own eyes the things the angels had made known unto them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is what Christmas is all about<\/strong>, but with all the commercialization that accompanies the season these days, keeping our focus on Christ<\/a> at Christmas can be a challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n
