With Independence Day just around the corner, I wanted to share a few of our favorite patriotic printables<\/strong> with you. Here are several free Fourth of July coloring pages to help you celebrate America’s Independence. Enjoy!<\/p>\n

United We Stand Coloring Page<\/a><\/h2>\n

First, we have this important reminder:<\/p>\n

“United we stand, divided we fall.<\/strong>” The principle is a Biblical one, for in Mark 3:24<\/a> we read, “If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.”

Then we have Patrick Henry’s soul-stirring words, “Give me liberty or give me death!”<\/p>\n

This one brings to mind Deuteronomy 30:19<\/a>, “I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Next, we have the official motto of the United States:<\/p>\n

Then there’s this prayer for God’s blessing upon our beloved country:<\/p>\n

That one’s reminiscent of the verse Psalm 33:12<\/a> — “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD…<\/strong>“<\/em><\/p>\n

We also have Daniel Webster’s insightful quote about liberty and virtue:<\/strong><\/p>\n

That’s an important connection. It explains why God commands us not to use our liberty for selfish pursuits, but to serve one another<\/strong>. (Galatians 5:13<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Here’s a famous quote from American patriot Nathan Hale that indicates how fiercely he believed in our nation’s fight for independence.<\/p>\n

This is a sobering reminder that “one life” is all any of us have (see Hebrews 9:27<\/a>), so we need to make it count (see Psalms 90:12<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Next, a reminder of our need to vigilantly guard our liberties if we wish to preserve them:<\/p>\n

And last is the advice John F. Kennedy made famous<\/strong>. “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”:<\/p>\n

This, again, echoes a command found in Philippians 2:3-4<\/a>. “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves<\/strong>, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”<\/em><\/p>\n
