This week’s coloring page<\/a> is based on the first two verses of the 23rd Psalm: “The Lord is my Shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; He leads me beside quiet streams.”<\/p>\n\n\n

The Psalm goes on to say that even when walking through the valley of the shadow of death, we can know that God is with us<\/strong>, guiding and comforting and providing for us all the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be honest, I’ve only traveled through such valleys a few times in my life. Just enough to make me better appreciate the green meadows and quiet streams<\/strong> that are my usual surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regardless where you find yourself today — on the highest, brightest hilltop or in the deepest, darkest valley — I pray you will cling to the Good Shepherd<\/a>. That you will recognize His voice and follow hard after Him<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or, if you feel too weak and weary and wounded to take another step, that you will rest in His strong arms and allow Him to carry you in His bosom<\/a> to greener pastures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
