The one I settled on is from <a href=\"http:\/\/biblehub.com\/songs\/6-3.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Song of Solomon 6:3<\/a> which says, <em>&#8220;I am my beloved&#8217;s and my beloved is mine.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>That idea of belonging to one another is not a very popular one among feminists today, but<strong> I love the oneness and unity it represents. And <\/strong>I don&#8217;t understand how any couple can experience the kind of love and marriage God intended without it.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.flandersfamily.info\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/I-Am-My-Beloveds.png?resize=1024%2C1323&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Free printable coloring pages with Scripture emphasis from flandersfamily.info -- Bible based, so you can meditate on the truth of scripture while you relax and color!\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1323\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14438\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.flandersfamily.info\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/I-Am-My-Beloveds.png?w=600&amp;ssl=1 600w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.flandersfamily.info\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/I-Am-My-Beloveds.png?resize=232%2C300&amp;ssl=1 232w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.flandersfamily.info\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/I-Am-My-Beloveds.png?resize=250%2C323&amp;ssl=1 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Verses about oneness in marriage:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>We see this idea of unity underscored in several other passages<\/strong> from both the Old and New Testaments, including the following verses.<br \/>\n<em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.&#8221; (<a href=\"http:\/\/biblehub.com\/genesis\/2-24.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Genesis 2:24<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. Choosing to be happy means choosing to think on things that are good and noble and right and lovely and pure\u2014including your spouse\u2019s most positive, admirable, and endearing qualities. Our marriages can\u2019t help but benefit when we discipline ourselves to do this. That\u2019s the purpose of this journal in a nutshell. <\/p>\n<p>Whether you\u2019re writing, drawing, pasting, or coloring in it, each page, prompt, and verse is designed to help you recall and record the things you love most about your husband, to reflect on your most cherished memories, and to recognize God\u2019s hand at work in your relationship.
