So this week, we&#8217;ve been cleaning closets, clearing out crib mobiles and baby blankets and cotton onesies, getting ready for a garage sale, bidding adieu to that sweet baby season of life we&#8217;ve enjoyed for so many years now.<\/p>\n<p>Even so,<strong> my job is far from over. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I may not be changing diapers or cuddling newborns anymore, but my children still need lots of attention. They need nourishing meals and clean clothes. They need help and guidance and counsel and instruction.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes they need a steadying hand. Got to keep working. <strong>When I put my feet up and try to coast, things go downhill fast.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The good news is, Christ rides ahead of me. <strong>He leads the way. <\/strong>He empowers me to keep going.<\/p>\n<p>The closer I follow after Him, the easier my job becomes.
