Free Cones, Kids Meals & Birthday Treats

I’ve received several letters from readers lately about local restaurants that have started offering free kids meals on certain nights of the week. Thank you to those of you who’ve written to let me know about these (Andrea, Carlos, and Lauren)!

You can now find an updated listing of Tyler area restaurants that offer free kids meals on our Kids Eat Free page.

Not from East Texas? Then check out this master list of kids eat free restaurants at Money Saving Mom. You’ll still need to call your local franchises to see whether they participate (many of ours in Tyler do not), but this post will give you a good starting place for finding places that will feed your kids for free or cheap.

Meanwhile, children and adults alike can enjoy a free ice cream cone from Dairy Queen. The offer is good today only (Monday, March 16). One per person. No purchase required, although donations to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals will be accepted (and appreciated).
