Jamberry Nail Wraps Giveaway

Jamberry Nails - GiveawayMy daughter-in-law, Matti, recently introduced me to an amazing new product called Jamberry Nail Wraps.

For those who are unfamiliar with this handy little shortcut to beautiful nails, Jamberry wraps provide a fast, easy way to get professional-looking manicures and pedicures at a fraction of the cost.

Matti is such a firm believer in the product that she has recently become a Jamberry Nails consultant. And, in fact, she has already recruited a couple of her friends to do the same.

It’s really the perfect business for busy, stay-at-home moms like my daughter-in-law: Minimal time commitment (just a few hours a week while her little ones are napping). No in-home parties or time away from her family. Everything is done online.

And the designs sell themselves.

Jamberry Nail Wraps come in every imaginable color and in a huge variety of patterns — dots, stripes, chevrons, animal prints, and floral designs, just to name a few. But the French tips were really more my style:

My nails haven’t looked this good since my wedding day. Here is a photo of my manicure then, done by yours truly, using polish at home. This took several tries and an incredibly steady hand. I especially had trouble with the right hand (not shown in photo), since I was a little shaky when painting with my left.

Incidentally, those of you who follow me on Facebook will remember that I lost the center diamond out of my wedding set back in June, but it was miraculously recovered two weeks later (you can read the whole story here). We had it reset by a local jeweler, and–at long last–it is now back on my hand where it belongs:

Isn’t it lovely? And the nails look great, too. The vinyl French tip wraps pictured here went on much easier than that polish did 27 years ago. See how perfect those curves are? And the right hand is just as pretty as the left. I put the same French tips on my toenails, as well, so my feet look great for the pool this summer.

To apply the Jamberry wraps, you’ll need a blow dryer and a pair of tweezers (the wraps will adhere better if you don’t touch them to your skin). Once the individual nail wrap has been heated, you’ll want to roll it onto your nail from side to side, stretching as necessary and rubbing the top to get out any wrinkles or air bubbles.

There are enough wraps on a single sheet to do three manicures or pedicures (possibly even four if your toenails are small and some of the larger nail wraps are cut into fourths to accommodate little toes). Applied properly, the nail wraps will last about two weeks on your hands and up to six weeks on your feet.

Ready to try some yourself? I’m giving away a full sheet on our blog this week (winner’s choice of color and style), so enter below for your chance to win! And if you have too much trouble selecting just one design, just talk to Matti about how you can earn free wraps, either by hosting an online party or becoming a Jamberry consultant yourself.

  1. I love lots of different colors. 🙂 I tend to wear neutral colors during the school year (as a teacher) and brighter colors in the summer. 🙂

  2. I love bold colours, but I have short crooked fingers and don’t like to wear bright on my hands. I usually go for clear or french manicure on my hands… on my toes, any bright bold color goes.

  3. I’m also wondering if I am actually coordinated enough to pull this off. If so, though, I like heart throb. Wish I had known about the cow print before Chick Fil A Cow Day. We usually just make up our own homemade ‘hooves’ using black and white nail polish. Fun! Thanks!

  4. This sounds great! I’m not sure if I’m coordinated enough to get it right, but I’m willing to try. Oh and I usually wear cream colors.

  5. I love jamberry! And they do last as long as they say. Even after washing your hands a ton, and doing dishes.
