Doug and Jennifer met back at Dallas Baptist University in 1986, married the following year, and began their family the next. Meanwhile, Doug went to medical school, completed an anesthesia residency, served as president of a large private-practice group, helped start a home church, survived two tours of duty with the Army Reserves, and recently finished writing his first novel, THE PRODIGY PROJECT.
