Our Purpose

"I just need to know if it's possible for two people to stay happy together forever, or at least for a few years."
Juno (title character in the 2007
Academy Award winning film)

Our family's answer to this question is a resounding "YES!" To a generation that increasingly questions the possibility of enduring love, we testify that, by the grace of God, it is entirely possible for couple to "live happily ever after."

But lasting happiness is rarely found by couples whose faithfulness to one another depends upon it. Abiding joy springs from unwavering commitment, not the other way around. If our marriage is to thrive, or even survive, then the promise we make on our wedding day to stick together through thick and thin, for better or worse, richer or poorer, in sickness and health, must be taken seriously. It has to be honored and kept.

Our family's goal in sharing our memories, photos, philosophies, and ideas through this website is to inspire other couples to pour their time, energy, and resources into strengthening their own marriage, building their own home, and enjoying their own children. We want to encourage families to spend more time together — celebrating cherished traditions, establishing new ones, making memories, and seeking God's wisdom for living, as only homes built firmly upon the Rock can hope to stand against the cultural storms that rage against them.

So here's to marriage, home, and family. Here's to husbands and wives. May God strengthen your love and commitment one to another and set you on the path to living "happily ever after", beginning today.
