When our oldest daughter left for college, little did she realize how desperately she was going to miss the family she left behind. The profound lonliness she experienced during that first semester forced her to lean all the more heavily on the strong arm of God for strength and comfort and companionship. After filling a journal with the lessons the LORD has been teaching her, she shared it with us, then graciously gave us permission to publish our favorite entries on this website, which we will do here, in Bethany's Blog.
